Walking in Balance and Harmony:
Teachings of the Sacred Wheel of Medicine with Changing Man: Tim Ott

Since time immemorial, the Cherokee people of North America have taught and used the Sacred Wheel of Medicine as an integral part of their lives. In this lecture, a basic overview of the Wheel of Medicine in its entirety will be presented, with a special focus on integrating some of its teachings into your own life through the sharing of the Medicine Lodge of the Heart teachings.

These spiritual teachings transcend time and space and are a meaningful spiritual empowerment for anyone, regardless of what religious views they may have. Changing Man (Ganetliyvsgv Asgaya) is a mixed-blood Cherokee Native whose roots go deep into the West Virginian Appalachian Mountains. Instructed in the Native ways by his paternal Grandfather, Changing Man took it upon himself in his young adult years to dive into his Native heritage. Over the course of the years, he has had many teachers and mentors of several Indigenous American Nations, including the Ojibwe, Shawnee, Sioux, Choctaw, Delaware, and of course Cherokee. Changing Man is a multimedia artist, who enjoys expressing his creativity in a variety of forms. He is a Pipe Carver and Pipe Maker, and a voting council member of the Keepers of the Sacred Traditions of Pipe makers, a federally-recognized Native American Church. Changing Man divides his time between his various projects, performing talks, lectures, workshops and seminars, counselling, doing ceremony (including a monthly Pipe Circle in Vienna, Austria) and spending time with his wife and 7-year old daughter. He currently lives and works in Vienna, Austria.
